Multiplying by twos, five and tens By:Veronica

Learning Intention: we are learning to multiply numbers up to 100.
Success Criteria: I know I am successful when I can multiply numbers using skip counting, doubles and repeated addition.

Problems: How many marbles are there all together?

1) 2 children had ten marble each =20
I know its 20 because, I double 10+10=20 I skip count by 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18,20 I multiply 10x2= 20
Image result for 10 marbles
2) Poppy,Sam and Millie have 5 marbles each.
How many do they have altogether?
I know its 15 because I skip counted by  5,10,15, or I use repeated addition 5+5+5=15, and I multiply 5x3=15.

3) Bently ate 3 packets of biscuits. There are 10 biscuits in each packet.
I used repeated addition of 10+10+10=30 I multiply 10x3=30 and I skip counted by 10,20,30.
